October 12, 2018
University of Nottingham, UK

Register

Music Care Conference Nottingham will be held on Friday 12th October 2018 at the East Midlands Conference Centre in the beautiful city of Nottingham, UK. Building on the success of music care conferences in Canada, the University of Nottingham is partnering with the Room 217 Foundation to bring together stakeholders in music and care in the UK to provide both information and inspiration around the therapeutic use of music.

Participants will experience music in a way that contributes to person-centred, holistic care. Expert keynote speakers and performers as well as local music care innovators will present through academic research, clinical care, and life experience. Participants may include healthcare professionals, volunteer and family carers, care recipients, musicians, students of the arts and social sciences and opinion leaders (Health and Wellbeing Board members, commissioners, councillors). We anticipate this one-day conference will have a lasting impact on services and service users.
